Microfilm/Microfiche Collections & Reader Printers

Some of the library's periodical holdings are provided in microfilm or microfiche format. Microfilm is found on a reel and stored in boxes. Microfiche is a 4 inch by 6 inch sheet of film stored in an envelope. These collections are housed in cabinets and located on the Main Floor beyond the staircase.

Microfilm and microfiche reader printers are provided for easy access to information stored in these formats. Library staff can assist patrons with this equipment.

The electronic list of periodicals and e-journals will indicate whether a title is available on microfilm or microfiche. Once citations for articles are identified and collected from an electronic or paper index or other sources, check the list to determine whether the library owns the periodical and its location in the library.
