Periodical Collection

The main Periodical Collection consists of back issues of periodicals and is located behind the staircase on the Main Floor. Titles may be available in boxes as loose issues or in bound volumes. Older back issues are stored in the Faculty Lounge on the Second Floor. Rarely used issues are in attic storage.

The library provides an electronic finding tool for the periodical titles that the library purchases. This tool is located on the library website under the link for Periodical & E-Journals.

Periodicals are available in various formats (print or paper, electronic, microfilm, microfiche). Periodical articles in electronic format are accessed through the library's research databases. Links to the database are provided directly from the electronic list for students using computers on-campus. Access from computers located off-campus is available through DAOrgs.

The electronic periodical list identifies the various formats that are available for periodical subscriptions and the location or collection where the title can be found (Main Floor, Faculty Lounge, Storage, etc.).
