Periodical Reading Room

Periodicals are publications that come out on a regular basis such as magazines, newspapers, and professional journals. Because they appear regularly (daily, weekly, monthly), they provide the most current information available.

Another good source for current information is the Internet, however, care must be taken to evaluate all information found on the Internet because it is a self-publishing medium.

The most current issues of periodicals that the library collects are on display in the Periodical Reading Room located next to the Reference Collection. In this library, periodicals are arranged alphabetically by title on the shelf.

Back issues of periodicals are located in the Periodical Collection. Older issues are stored in the Faculty Lounge.
