Research Databases
- Database subscriptions are selected to support the curriculum with quality electronic resources
- Some databases are indexes to periodical literature.
- Some are or also include reference sources (encyclopedias, dictionaries, etc.).
- Databases may provide only citations for articles, full text articles, or a combination.
- Choosing the correct database for the topic is important.
- The list of databases by subject provides a description of each database including the years of coverage.
- The database description handout provides the same information for all databases in a printable format.
- Many databases are available due to the generosity of our donors.
