Research Databases

  • Database subscriptions are selected to support the curriculum with quality electronic resources
  • Some databases are indexes to periodical literature.
  • Some are or also include reference sources (encyclopedias, dictionaries, etc.).
  • Databases may provide only citations for articles, full text articles, or a combination.
  • Choosing the correct database for the topic is important.
  • The list of databases by subject provides a description of each database including the years of coverage.
  • The database description handout provides the same information for all databases in a printable format.
  • Many databases are available due to the generosity of our donors.
