Search the following catalogs to identify sources that are not available at the Boyden Library. Any library catalog is a useful resource for identifying titles that can be obtained through Interlibrary Loan.

- Five College Library System
Search the holdings of the following libraries, together or individually:
UMass Amherst, Amherst College, Hamphire College, Mt. Holyoke College, Smith College
Adult residents of Massachusetts can obtain a library card at UMass by showing proof of residence and a photo ID.
Secondary school students need a letter of introduction from a Deerfield Academy librarian and a photo ID.
- C/W MARS Western Mass Libraries
Search the holdings of a large group of libraries in western and central Massachusetts.
With a library card from any C/W MARS library (Greenfield Public Library, Jones Library in Amherst, Forbes Library in Northampton, etc.).
Patrons with a library card can request books from any of these libraries electronically.
A library card can be obtained by showing proof of local residence.
- Massachusetts Virtual Catalog
Search the holdings of a large number of Massachusetts libraries.
With a library card from any library network in Massachusetts (such as C/W MARS) or from one of the participating University of Massachusetts libraries, items can be requested from this Virtual Catalog electronically.
Patrons logging in as "guest" cannot request titles, but can identify useful titles and request them through Interlibrary Loan.

This is the catalog for our national library.
Every item copyrighted in the United States is owned by the Library of Congress.
Use this large catalog to identify materials to obtain through Interlibrary Loan.
- WorldCat
WorldCat is the largest library network in the world. Search many libraries for an item and locate it in a local library.
Search results usually link directly to the item record in the local library catalog.
A wide variety of materials are available:
popular books, music CDs and videos, downloadable audiobooks, authoritative research materials (documents, photos of local or historic significance, etc.), abstracts and full-text articles, and digital versions of rare items that aren't available to the public.
If the item is not available locally, use Interlibrary Loan to acquire it.
- National Union Catalog
"The mission of the NUCMC program is to provide and promote bibliographic access to the nation's documentary heritage." Archival and manuscript collections held by eligible repositories located throughout the United States and its territories are described and cataloged. Records from 1986 to present are available online. Records from 1959 to 1985 are available only in print usually at large institutions (U. of Massachusetts).
- Boston Public Library
Massachusetts State Residents, can sign up for a temporary (6 month) Boston Public Library eCard (more info) on the Internet.
Anyone who lives, works, attends school, or owns property in the Commonwealth of Massachusetts and is at least 13 years of age may register for an e Card.
This card allows immediate access to most of the library's electronic resources, including databases, and downloadable audio, video, and music.
In order to check out library materials, users must upgrade to a standard BPL card.
- Massachusetts Trial Court Libraries
Members of the public can register for a library card at any of the 17 Trial Court Law Libraries.
Libraries are located in Greenfield and Northampton.
Patrons with TCLL cards can read court cases, statutes, regulations and legal journals online through remote access to legal databases.
The TCLL website provides links for real-time legal assistance online, email assistance, legal research materials, and other helpful legal websites.
