ABOUT THE LIBRARY |
How do I book a room? For faculty and staff bookings, see AV & Instruction RoomsStudents can book a group study room by going to or calling the Circulation Desk at (413) 774-1510. It is suggested that groups plan ahead to use a room by signing up in advance, especially during periods of peak library use. The library provides six group study rooms for use by groups of at least four students who need a space where they can talk freely and collaborate on projects. The rooms are also used by faculty with their classes. There are two group study rooms on the Main Floor, three rooms on the Second Floor, and one room on the Lower Level. Three study rooms, one on each floor, contain audio-visual equipment (TV, DVD, VHS) and a whiteboard or blackboard. Individuals and smaller groups may sign up for these rooms in order to view course-related audio-visual materials. The Deerfield Authors & Publications Room on the Main Floor includes a computer. Students are encouraged to bring their personal laptops and take advantage of wireless access throughout the library. |
