How do I suggest a purchase?

All members of the Deerfield Academy community are encouraged to participate in building the library collection.

Forms for recommending books, authors, CD's, videos, and DVD's are available at the Circulation Desk. In addition, you can make your request electronically by using our Suggest a Purchase form.

Library staff utilize various collection development resources and strategies to add new materials to the collection that will support the Deerfield Academy curriculum and the needs of students and faculty.

To identify titles for purchase by searching by subject, search other library catalogs or use the Books in Print database. (From a computer located off-campus, go to DA Orgs / Library to access the BIP database).
