AV & Instruction Rooms

Contact the Circulation Desk at (413) 774-1510 to book a room.

Faculty and staff may book AV1, AV2, and the Faculty Lounge for classes and meetings.

AV1 - Electronic classroom (Lower Level)
Computer, DVD, VHS, document camera (overhead projector), slide projector
Seats 28 people, 23 chairs with desktops plus 5 tables with chairs

AV2 - Electronic classroom (Lower Level)
Computer, DVD, VHS, document camera (overhead projector), printer
Seats 18 people, 8 desktop computers on tables with chairs plus 10 additional tables with chairs

Faculty Lounge (Second Floor)
DVD, VHS, overhead projector, slide projector
Daily set-up: 6 tables arranged in a square with 16 chairs plus 10 lounge chairs
Event seating: 90 people, folding chairs

  • If you need to change the arrangement of the Faculty Lounge for an event, please call Physical Plant, extension 1572
  • If you need a computer set up, please call the IT Help Desk, extension 1444
  • Food and drink are not normally allowed in the library, except for large special events. Please notify the library if you will be serving food and call Florrie Paige, extension 1520, to arrange food deliveries.

Study Rooms

The library provides six group study rooms for use by groups of at least four students who need a space where they can talk freely and collaborate on projects. The rooms are also used by faculty with their classes. There are two group study rooms on the Main Floor, three rooms on the Second Floor, and one room on the Lower Level.

Three study rooms, one on each floor, have a TV, DVD, VHS and whiteboard or blackboard. Individuals and smaller groups may sign up for these rooms in order to view course-related audio-visual materials. Study rooms seat 8 people comfortably around a central table.

Requests for use of audio-visual equipment outside of the library should be directed to Information Technology. Contact the Information Technology Services Help Desk at (413) 774-1444.
